Verbindung mit 2-Loch-Kabeldose

Hello,

I really hope you can help me, essp. when it's quite hard for me to maintain a proper conversation on German still.

I have received few weeks back an Installation package which had only Anschluss Kabel, Internet Kabel, Netzteil and Connect Box itself.

When I try to connect cable with my 2 Loch Kabeldose, it does not work. In particulat the cable does not fit into the Kabeldose. Please see the photos attached. When reading the instructions, I see that i may need a push-on-Adapter. After talking to support they only suggest that they will arrange a technical person to get in touch with me, but it's already been more than a week since I've called them for the first time. After that i have called, emailed, sent a message to Facebook Support, but no further contact from technician did happen, neither I was promised to recieve a Push-on-Adaptor...

Can you please suggest what else can I do to get attention to my case?

A Push-on-Adapter only works in some specific cases so you probably need indeed a technican. Try calling Unitymedia again and ask them for the telephone number of the subcontractor that is supposed to send the technican.

Thanks, I did! I have now called to servicepartner company "hecking"and they have suggested the 'termin' in 2 weeks to change my current Kabeldose to Multimedia dose..😓 so looks i now just need to wait and check on how the payment for April and May will be re-adjusted.

Hi Nadiya,

I too have a same 2-Loch Kabeldose. When I called a unity media service center, they told me that you will get contacted by a technician for the termin, but it has been already 4 days and no body has contacted me yet 😞.

So do have a any option other then waiting for terminal (appointment) ?

Hi Hardik,

I have waited for few days and also called the technician directly to arrange a termin. Unitymedia Support have provided the contact number:
The company is called 'Hecking'
Contact number -  02161495810.

They will be able to identify you by your Full name, in case Unitymedia already has submitted a request for their technican to come over at you place and install a Multidose.

One thing to note - you will probably have to wait for 2+ weeks, as they do not have the capacity to come over before it. So, no internet up untill then 😌.
